Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
